My favorite music is country!! And I don't mean the current pop country stuff that seems popular now. But the REAL country!! Hank Williams, Roy Rogers, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Chris Ledoux, Dolly Parton, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Clint Black, Martina McBride, Alan Jackson, Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, and a lot more like these. But don't get me wrong I do like some currents like Brad Paisley, Gretchen Wilson, Toby Keith, and I love Sugarland. But living in Pittsburgh I feel out of place. I can quote Willie Nelson to everyone and no one would know where I came up with that. I even tried that by saying "nothing I can do about it now" to everyone I talked to and no one know that was one of Willie's greatest songs. Of course that was a general saying. I might have got more of a reaction if I said "whiskey river" or "good hearted woman." I even went to circuit city looking for a new Chris Ledoux CD (a few years back of cause) and the people there were like "who that hell is that!" I realize I live in a rap town, but I'm country, and I was country before country was cool. And if someone knows what I just referenced to I will buy you some whiskey.
