Hi! Though I live in the city, I dream to move to the country where I can explore hills and lanes with my dog, and ideally a friend/partner who shares the same passion as me. I work in the city, but hope to retire at some stage or change my lifestyle to something more meaningful, perhaps as a dog minder, rather than as a social worker that I am at present.

I would love to live in a small country village/town with an active community that is interested and supportive of its residents, and build such a life with a partner who enjoys the company of others and values family.

I would love to meet someone who is interested in companionship first and foremost, someone to grow old with and with whom to share the joys (and perhaps sorrows) of life.

Perhaps you also have a dog, and we can walk them together, and perhaps pause and watch the birds or the wildlife around us. Sometimes we could potter around the garden and attempt at growing vegetables that we could cook for local friends and those who come from afar.

I would enjoy travelling overseas, to visit my son and his prospective family in the States, or your family located elsewhere, or discover the sights and smells of unfamiliar landmarks.

Perhaps you are a graduate and have worked in a professional field, but now have chosen to move/retire to the country, or perhaps you live in the country and work in a professional capacity in a local town/city. Ideally you would have a good sense of humour, be kind and considerate, a good conversationalist and a good listener. Someone who doesn't have too much baggage, but are self-aware.
