Country Girl lost in the City!! Where's the corn fields?? I love everything about the rural country towns. I was raised in a small town in Missouri and now that I'm in a city I realized how much I really miss the small town feel..and kinda miss the neighbors always knowing what you're doing before you know what you're doing...lol
I miss planting wild country flowers and the smell of lilacs early in the spring mornings and the peonies around Memorial Day. I miss the small town schools because it seems that they pay more attention our children than a big school does. The small creeks that run down along the edge of your property, makes for a perfect day just sittin with your feet in the water. And there's nothin like river bend parties. I'm to old for them now but memories are wonderful. Also miss the sound a train blowin' its horn at 3am on the other side of town. Tighter Community and not so much hustle bustle.
