I enjoy the privacy and tranquil setting Originally from sweet home Alabama I was born and raised in the life of a redneck: from speaking in a southern accent, saying y'all, sweet tea, dirt biking, fishing and target shooting.
Upon moving to Northern Canada to rural Manitoba (of all places) in the early 80's I disengaged from that way of life. In the early 90's I moved to Toronto area and soon adapted to the hussel and bussel of city life. Now-a-days, I yearn for the simple down to earth rural country ways: privacy of no neighbours (yay, I want a hot tub and the option of walking around o'natural), land for my collies to roam about (collies live to herd), and recreational toys to explore (ATV, snowmobiles, etc). Like the sayin' goes, "you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl." With the rise of reality shows popping up in today's culture, I reckin' shows like Duck Dynasty, Swamp people and sweet home Alabama Bachelorette which aired city vs country guys as suitor, inspire folks not to hid from their redneck roots.
I'm looking for a ruggedly handsome man who naturally displays chivalry, holds a door open, helps a lady with her coat, looks after himself and is known to whip up a good home cooked meal. you are down to earth, hardworking and can let loose (you know like we've seen on the movie, Footloose). You come from an extended family and enjoy the trapping of a modest life from hard work.
