Born in Savannah, GA = True Southerner!!! Having been a native of one of the 13 Original Colonies, you don't get much more "Southern" as I am LOL! But we moved to Southern California when I was just a young girl, and I grew up here. All of my relatives are still back east, all over the state of South Carolina as well as Georgia. I know a lot of what is considered the classification of "Southern" extends from I guess starting from maybe the state of Texas on back to Florida and I just think southern people, in general, are unique, most are friendly and hospitable, hence, the term "Southern Hospitality". We're just good natured, open-minded but have good morals, are close with our families usually, and believe in loving our nieghbors and helping those in need. Plus the Atlantic Ocean is a lot more warmer than the blue Pacific! There's so much to love about Country in general--the music of course, but the land, the home lifestyle, the food, just about everything, in fact it's hard to think of what not to like--except maybe incorrect stereotypes, as not all people from the country are "hicks".
