hope I love being woken up in the early hours by birdsong. I love sitting in my garden and hearing nothing but the birds singing and the church bells ringing the quarter hour. And I love that my friends from London cannot believe that we can go for months and months without ever hearing a siren of any kind. I don't mind visiting some cities, but London does my head in; dirty, noisy and crowded - what's to like? Liverpool, on the other hand is not too big and has loads of my lovely cousins in. I spent a lot of years in Cambridge, which is my ideal city - lovely parks, lots of space.
